When I retired from the Marine Corps in 1987, I stepped up my involvement and am now published about a dozen times a month in 16 magazines around the world. I shoot for all the current American truck magazines: Truckin’, MiniTruckin, Street Trucks, Custom Classic Trucks, Classic Trucks, and 8-Lug, along with Modified Mustangs and Fords, Auto Enthusiast, Chevy High Performance, and Kit Car Builder. I also write a monthly column for London’s Complete Kit Car magazine and contribute to four different Australian automotive and motorcycle magazines. Every day brings something new and I get to meet fascinating people, photograph and learn about their dream rides, and write their stories. to GreevesPhotography.com. I’m Joe Greeves, Freelance
Automotive Photojournalist. Photography has been a
passion, a hobby, and a business since 1974 when my
first feature article was published in Truckin’
Magazine. I quickly realized that my camera opened many
doors, whether it was a show promoter inviting me to his
event, a vehicle owner asking me to feature his car, or
a shop owner wanting to publish a tech article or shop
tour. Each of these events became great fun for me as
well as for those involved. Now almost four decades
later, it’s still just as exciting. And the best part is
… everyone always seems happy to see me coming!
